FRAUD ALERT: SCAM TARGETING MATJHABENG MUNICIPALITY RESIDENTS

The Matjhabeng Local Municipality and Ntiyiso Consulting Group have been alerted to a scam involving an individual falsely claiming to represent both entities. This fraudster is demanding payments into personal bank accounts and using aggressive tactics to pressure residents.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

  • No individual has been authorized to collect municipal payments into private bank accounts.
  • All official transactions follow a verified and transparent process.
  • Ntiyiso Consulting Group is solely contracted to facilitate municipal revenue collection; however, all payments must be made directly to the official Municipal Bank Account. Ntiyiso Consulting Group does not collect payments on behalf of Matjhabeng Municipality or any other entity.
  • If you receive a suspicious call demanding payment, do NOT engage—report it immediately.
