Ntiyiso Consulting Group has successfully completed the Seed Transformation Programme Certificate with the University of Stanford Graduate School of Business. The Seed Transformation Programme is a yearlong, on-the-ground leadership programme for established founders and CEOs in emerging economies. Its main aim is to grow businesses and increase the positive impact they have in their communities with special focus on Business Administration, Management and Operations.
Group Chief Executive Officer
Alex Mabunda is the Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer at Ntiyiso Consulting Group. He leads the development and implementation of the business strategy for the group. He has over 22 years of industrial and management consulting experience, with skills in feasibility studies, IT strategy, strategic management, corporate governance, strategic planning and Thought Leadership. Before spending eight years with a multinational FMCG company as an IT business analyst, he graduated with a BSc in computer science and applied mathematics from the University of Witwatersrand. Moreover, he completed the Seed Transformation Program Certificate with the University of Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. Alex is a thought leader and a regular contributor on topical issues pertaining industrialisation and local government. He is a social activist with a membership in social cohesion structures at Rixaka Heritage Forum and he supports several community development initiatives in his home village Bungeni in Limpopo province.
Group Chief Advisor
Andisa has over 17 years management consulting and early stage entrepreneurship experience. Andisa is an analytical problem solver with a sound financial and research background. He has worked for major consulting houses i.e. Letsema Consulting in partnership with Mckinsey & Co., CapGemini and Accenture. His industry experience includes Business Process Services, Social housing, Banking, Media & Telecommunication, Airline, Military, Energy and Maritime. His core competencies lie in strategy development ( or business planning) and implementation, program and project management, organisational design, capital productivity improvement, operational transformation, business process reengineering, revenue and cost management, and early stage entrepreneurship.
Group Chief Advisor
Miyelani has over 20 years of corporate and management consulting experience. Miyelani was the Project Director Revenue Management & Enhancement Programme for the Ekurhuleni Metro. In this role he was managing a team of highly qualified Project Managers whose role was to deliver projects with new revenue for the metro. He managed a portfolio of 25 medium to mega projects. Miyelani acted in the position of Director Income in Ekurhuleni Metro here he achieved a record of exceeding the payment level of 93% to reach 93.24% for the first time in the history of the Ekurhuleni Metro. This saw the Income Division of Finance Department collecting R14 billion for the 2011/12 financial year.
Group Chief Financial Officer
Tondy has over 18 years of strategic financial management experience. Tondy was a Lead Technical Advisor at National Treasury’s Municipal Finance Management Programme (MFIP). In this role she was managing a team of highly qualified professionals whose role was to advise municipalities and provincial treasuries in financial management matters. She was also a Chief Financial Officer for various institutions with budgets over R2 billion. Tondy joined Ntiyiso Consulting Group in June 2018 as an Associate Partner.
Managing Director
Auntony has been a Chemical Engineer for over 18 years. Auntony started his career at CSIR, materials and manufacturing technology division, where he left as a Process Engineer to join Sasol Technology in Secunda as a Chemical Engineer responsible for plant process optimisation. He then joined Sasol Synfuels as a Section Leader Production. His last role at Sasol was Manager business development at Secunda Synfuels Operations. He also worked for Air Liquide as a Project Manager. His areas of competency include process engineering, process optimisation, production management, project management, investment analysis, financial modelling, and business track management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Managing Director – Ntiyiso Revenue Consulting
Trevor is a Civil Engineer with over 16 years’ experience. His career started in 2003 at Kadoma City Council before moving to head the Engineering department at Kadoma Rural District Municipality. He then moved to the humanitarian space working for an NGO Catholic Relief Services (CRS) implementing community development projects (WASH) in various Districts.
Before joining the Ntiyiso Consulting Group in 2016, Trevor was with Aurecon from 2009 where he was a Project Engineer and was part of the team that pioneered and implemented various revenue enhancement strategies and the automation of field processes for City of Ekurhuleni which are now being adopted by various municipalities in South Africa.
He has vast consulting expertise especially in the fields of revenue management and enhancement, water loss and demand management and water conservation coupled with Project / Program Management.
Head of Business Development & Sales
Vongani is the Head of Business Development and Sales at Ntiyiso Consulting Group. He has over 19 years corporate and management consulting experience, having worked for blue chip companies in insurance and banking and finance. He has entrepreneurial experience having been exposed to businesses in the food and beverage, and construction and allied sectors.
Vongani holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of the Witwatersrand. His core strengths are business planning, transaction advisory, revenue management and financial management.
Associate Partner – Ntiyiso Revenue Consulting
Njaliwe is an Associate Partner at Ntiyiso Consulting Group within the Ntiyiso Revenue Consulting Subsidiary responsible for managing key projects within the revenue management space. Njaliwe is a management consultant whose career has spanned across multiple projects varying in size, industry and location. From start-up organisations to bigger establishments in industries such as telecommunications, rail and utilities. Njaliwe commenced her career in telecommunications in 2009 for a start-up operator where she was exposed to key elements in building and developing an effective organisation. Thereafter she joined the management consulting world at a firm with projects across the SADC region and took her to turnkey projects in Namibia, Mozambique and Malawi that included system analysis, design and implementation as well as Business Process Re-engineering. Njaliwe has worked on a number of other projects locally such as Bulk Mining Explosives (BME), Transnet Freight Rail (TFR), Vodacom, HSRC and City of Tshwane with a primary focus on operational improvement at all projects.
