Delegates at the SA BRICS Business Council in Johannesburg have heard that Africa needs to take a united approach to global trade matters. Speakers at the event say the BRICS partnership provides an opportunity for Africa to change the ways in which it does business.
The Gauteng Provincial Government as one of the organisers emphasised the importance of sound economic infrastructure that supports commercial activities through the provision of power and comprehensive road, rail and ocean connectivity.
The BRICS Business Council meeting is a precursor to the BRICS Summit, which kicks off next week.
