Renita Moonsamy is Managing Director for Ntiyiso Business Consulting and has over 19 years of experience. She has previously held positions in SOE’s particularly within the ICT sector and been an entrepreneur within the Energy and Mining industries. Renita holds a BSc Degree with Double Chemistry majors, and sub majors in Biochemistry and Microbiology from University of Witwatersrand. She has studied toward an MBA from WITS Business School with a key focus on Strategy, Corporate Finance, and Investment.

  • Some notable achievements are her leadership of a team of Executives in the Business Turnaround of Transtel through process optimisation, re-negotiation of Supplier contracts and Client Revenue growth with long term Contracts.

As an entrepreneur, she established a costing model for coal logistics solution; a coal handling facility in Richards Bay, including port and rail operations for reliability and improved export capacity to drive higher revenue growth. Renita also concluded a study with Worley-Parsons on 1300km Coal Slurry Pipeline for cost effective Coal logistics solution to Port in Mozambique. She thereafter investigated the longest pipeline during the build phase in 2013 in Shanxi Province, China. Renita also established a Hong Kong start-up company, where in year 1, she negotiated and signed supply contracts valued at over US$180m annually.
